Classification of prefabricated and integrated modular buildings

Integral container building. The monolithic container building is a rigid connection between the column and the top and bottom frames by welding. The outer protective structure cannot be removed, has good strength, and the whole container has good mobility. The container house is the most typical and common integrated container house. The top and bottom frame of a standard single container is composed of top and bottom frame corner pieces, top and bottom frame beams, top and bottom frame side beams, top and bottom frame secondary beams, and top slab floor. Enclosed, the enclosure structure usually uses corrugated plates, which are welded to the top and bottom frames and columns, which can play a role similar to a shear wall. In addition to being prefabricated in factories, container houses can also be transformed from abandoned freight containers.

Detachable container building. The dismountable container building is similar to the container building. A single container body is composed of a bottom frame, a top frame, a corner column and an enclosure system. The differences are as follows:

a. The structural system of the disassembled container-type house is a cold-formed thin-walled steel structure;

b. The corner posts and the corner pieces of the top and bottom frame are connected by bolts, not welded;

c. The exterior enclosure structure usually adopts color steel sandwich panels or other light-weight high-strength wall panels;

d. The self-weight of the disassembled container house is lighter than that of the container house, and the force is closer to semi-rigid than the container house. Figure 4 shows the standard disassembled container house;

e. Since the corner posts and the top and bottom frames are connected by bolts, after the disassembly container-type house is disassembled, the top frame and the bottom frame are connected together by additional packing columns, and baffles are installed around to form an internal storage and disassembly container type The container body of the house's own parts, that is, the packing unit. After multiple packing units are stacked, a transport unit suitable for transportation can be formed. Compared with container-type houses, disassembly-type container-type houses are more convenient to transport.
